Sean Connolly Barracks, Longford Town

Named after a local Brigadier Sean Connolly of the Longford Brigade, Connolly Barracks has a history which stretches even further back in our history.

Located on the north bank of the River Camlin, with its main entrance on Church Street to its south, it was an area of fortification and central to the development of Longford Town
