Discover natural bogland and the historic Iron Age trackway at the Corlea Bog Walk and Visitor Centre.Corlea Bog Walk is a looped walk, where you will take in the natural bogland and native flora and fauna of the area.

Walking Trail

Overview

It starts close to Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre, which offers guided tours with a preserved Iron Age road excavation. Dating back to 148BC, it is the largest of its kind to have been uncovered in Europe!

There is also a further walk from Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre that connects to the Royal Canal, which is 1.5km in length.
