Mosstown Stables

Mosstown Riding Club is a friendly and enthusiastic club based at Mosstown Stables, in Keenagh, County Longford. 

Mosstown Stables provides an indoor arena and a cross-country course. Situated in the old Mosstown Estate, there are good roads for hacking and grass along the nearby canal provides a scenic route in all seasons.

It is open to both horse owners and non-horse owners, with horses provided by the stables at a small extra charge for lessons, clinics and events. The range and quality of horses they have on offer ensure a suitable horse for all riders, whatever their level and confidence.

The club takes part in local and national events, as well as both hosting and taking part in competitions with other clubs in the area.

Several members are horse breeders, and there is a strong ethos of careful breeding of young horses and an open sharing of knowledge and experience.
