Arrival at Castlecor House, have tea/coffee on arrival and take guided tour of this historic house and grounds. 

1:00pm – 2.15pm   

Drive to Ballymahon (2.7km) and have lunch at Cooney's Hotel  

2.15pm – 3:45pm     

Pick up bikes at Ballymahon Greenway Cycles and cycle on the Royal Canal Greenway to Corlea Trackway Visitors Centre, Kenagh (8km)

3:45pm – 4.45pm       

Enjoy guided tour around the Visitors Centre and learn about the historic Iron Age Bog Road discovered here that is older than the Pyramids!

4:45pm – 5.15pm       

Take leisurely stroll around Corlea Bog Amenity Walk with its various trails

5:15pm – 5.45pm       

Cycle back to Ballymahon and drop back bikes 

5:50pm – 7.25pm       

Drive back to guesthouse to unpack, freshen up and get ready for dinner

7.30pm - 8.15pm

Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the authentic and atmospheric Skelly's Bar

8.15pm - 10.15pm

Enjoy dinner in Jolly Boys Pizza & Grill

Day 2

9:30pm – 10:15pm     

Enjoy a hearty breakfast in Castlecor House                                            

11:00am – 11:15am   

Check out of accommodation and drive to Abbeyshrule

Enjoy a cookery class at Fiona Egan Cloughan Farm Cookery School

12:45pm – 2:30pm   

Learn how to cook with fresh ingredients and enjoy your lunch cooked by you. Take a guided tour of the farm with Fiona / Michael

Visit the historic Abbeyshrule Cistercian Abbey 

3.05pm - 3.45pm   

Enjoy a stroll along the banks of the Royal Canal Greenway / National Famine Way in Abbeyshrule village
