EZxploring First County to lead the Longford Tourism and Longford County Council have launched a series of fun, family-friendly EZxploring games maps exploring eight locations in County Longford. The self-guided walking trails of Ardagh, Ballymahon, Edgeworthstown, Granard, Lanesborough, Cloondara and Longford Town are designed to allow local people and visitors to easily and safely explore the towns & villages of County Longford.

Cleverly designed with a seek and find activity, participants are asked to find clues and tell the tales of historic County Longford. Children can become tour guides for their families using EZxploring games, while having fun and also learning a thing or two along the way.
Each EZxploring map tells the unique story of the location. Whilst child-centred, the bite-sized pieces of information presented provide a fun activity for all ages and abilities. Using EZxploring games, locals can feel like holidaymakers in their own locality, and visitors will discover so much to love about County Longford.
The EZxploring games on the Royal Canal Greenway and National Famine Way helps you imagine how it was in the past. If you enjoy a physical challenge, there is 43.4km of the Royal Canal to explore in County Longford. This will encourage locals and visitors to get active and explore the Royal Canal Greenway and the National Famine Way with a number of recommended routes to try and lots of clues about the past to be found along the way.
These fun and innovative maps are available from local libraries & attractions in Ballymahon, Edgeworthstown, Granard, Lanesborough, Ardagh and Longford Town.
