Abbeyshrule Aerodrome
Abbeyshrule Aerodrome is a small private airport located in south-east County Longford, near the village of Abbeyshrule, beside the River Inny and the Royal Canal. The airfield itself boasts a 2,000 foot long tarmac runway which is great for training. The aerodrome is home to two flying clubs - Skyline Flying Club and Aero Club 2000.
Both Skyline Flying Club and Aero Club 2000 are a Registered Training Facility (RTF) with the Irish Aviation Authority and are fully insured to provide training and aircraft rental to their members.
