McCormacs Farmhouse
Enjoy a stay in a 140 year old Irish farmhouse nestled on a hill overlooking a famous pike fishing lake with the most beautiful views of the Irish countryside. There is a private lakeshore for keen anglers. They offer more than most - a beautiful house with an amazing view, an old style sibin and outdoor entertainment area with firepit (fuel is not included but coal and wood can be purchased in the nearby village of Gowna). Breakfast available upon request (please advise at time of booking).
Entire house is yours to enjoy, there is 1 king bedroom, 2 double bedrooms and 1 single room, 2 bathrooms, 1 electric shower. There is a farmhouse style kitchen with a view you might just like - a picture paints a thousand words! For boat owners McCormacs offers a unique facility to moor your boat at their private/secure lakeshore mooring for the duration of your stay. Whether you're angling or pleasure cruising, or both, there'll be no need for you to launch and retrieve your boat daily. There's a public ramp 10 minutes (rowing time) across the lake from the lakeshore.
