The rollout will see Longford businesses benefit greatly from this improvement to our key digital infrastructure and will also make it even more advantageous to locate business in the county and signaling future commercial development for the region. This upgrade will open up business opportunities in e-learning, remote working and the relocation of 'born-digital' enterprises.

With the impact of Covid-19 and the growing appetite for home and remote working, Longford is looking to the future by continuing with our development of rural working hubs. These hubs will include the Providers Buildings in Longford Town, CO:WORX in Edgeworthstown and the Yard Hub in Abbeyshrule. These state-of-the-art facilities will allow companies' employees to work closer to home, provide an excellent base for entrepreneurs and start-ups, contribute towards a low-carbon future and help redevelop our towns and villages under a digital strategy.
