About this Route

This is a beautiful journey through historic North Longford. It’s a 30km hilly route – so if cycling a good level of fitness is necessary.

In historic Ballinamuck you can visit the visitors centre and learn all about the 1798 Rebellion and the Battle of Ballinamuck.

In Aughnacliff why not take a look at the impressive dolmen.

There are a number of playgrounds along the route should your children want to take a break.
